The music was recorded live on CIUT 89.5 fm Toronto in September of 2001 for the program "Karibouni". Karibouni (Swahili for "Welcome") airs every Sunday night at 6pm on CIUT fm 89.5 Toronto. Visit CIUT and listen live online at CIUT.fm

The program is hosted by Michael Stohr and Music Africa's Afrofest Musical Director, Nadine McNulty. Nadine has been a big supporter of the group The program is a musical journey around the continent of Africa. The show features music, interviews with artists, news and information on the local African music scene in Toronto.

Six songs are performed on Marimba and two on Mbira.
